Son & Thief
Son & Thief
Son & Thief is a post-garage band that emerges from the Athens indie rock
scene, re-inspired with the restless mind’s sensibilities. In the years leading
up to the group’s formation, singer Shane Toriscelli crafted a number of
works with the sole purpose of chronicling his very human experiences.
During the fall of 2014, Toriscelli forged Son & Thief as the vessel that
would house these songs. Soon, Shane sought out the abilities of guitarist
and friend Deane Lawton, whose quiet vibrant style fleshed perfectly within
Son & Thief’s vast atmosphere.
Drawing on the impressions of bands such as Bon Iver, Wilco, Valley
Maker, and Beach House, Son & Thief’s variable style recounts the inner
monologues of a man unearthing his own wisdom. He pleads for honest
understanding and affection through navigating young love. He speaks with
biting veracity and sobering mindfulness. He sings with haunting innocence
that shepherds a rhythm section with ebb and flow that is brilliant and
warm. This results from the band’s attention to tone and soundscape,
affording them unique aural maturity and sonic range.
Refreshingly forthright, Son & Thief is complete in intention. They are
humble, distinguished, and compellingly relatable, all at once.
Wanderwild
Wanderwild is the project of singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Matt Martin. Hailed as an Athens, GA "music veteran," Matt is the product of years of collaboration, recording, and live performance with nearly a dozen different bands. He balances melodic, pop songwriting with indie rock sensibilities, and uses Wanderwild as a vehicle to chase his love for both songwriting and production. His debut EP, "Fleeting," is available now, released on March 25, 2016.
Liza Anne
Liza Anne
Originally hailing from the quiet coast of Georgia, Liza Anne has found a home in Nashville as an indie artist exploring rock, folk, and experimental music. At only 19, Liza independently released her debut album, The Colder Months, in February of 2014 and has been building a following ever since. On May 19th, 2015 Liza Anne independently released her sophomore album, TWO.

After traveling consistently over the past two years, Liza has grown as an individual, so it's only natural that her sound has expanded and evolved as well. On TWO Liza strives to find the balance between staying authentic to her folk/singer-songwriter roots, and experimenting with fuller instrumentation and layered sounds.

Over the past year Liza Anne has shared the stage with incredible musicians around the world including Marc Scibilia, Sea Wolf, Leighton Meester, FYFE, Dana Williams, Elenowen, and Young Summer. While traveling throughout Europe, Liza played for Communion Music in London opening for FYFE at his album release show. In July, Liza was invited to play the first in-office performance at SoundCloud's brand new world headquarters in Berlin. By August Liza was back in the States and continued to play intimate house shows up and down the East coast with her collective of Nashville musicians known as KINDRED.

Recent career highlights include: a Tin Pan South appearance in Nashville with Sam Palladio (Nashville), an iTunes Music New Artist Spotlight feature, playing Moeller Mondays (Daytrotter) in Rock Island with Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes, and singing in Damien Rice's choir at The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
